If you can imagine it, we can build it. Over the last 30 years, we have built many stairs and railings designed by architects and professional designers. Many of our other customers come in with photos or pictures from magazines and, working from these, we design and build a staircase that is perfectly suited to their unique home as well as their pocketbook.

Flexibility of design choice. You are always welcome at the Archworks offices and showroom where we would be glad to go over the wide range of options available and to help you make the best choices for your home or project.

Craftsmanship. Recognized as a master stair/railing carpenter in both Alberta and British Columbia for many years, Doug Warren has been commissioned to build some of the trickiest, most intricate staircases around – succeeding beautifully where other carpenters feared to tread. He brings this level of mastery and attention to detail to every job – whether it is simple and elegant or complex and grand.

A Stair and Railing Company run by a Stair/Railing Craftsman. We custom build all posts and railings in our millwork shop. This allows us to control for quality and cost. It also allows us freedom of creativity. Some stair companies are run by businessmen who are not carpenters.
