About Archworks

Doug Warren, founder of Archworks, is a Master journeyman carpenter. Having run a stair and railing company specializing in curves and spirals for over 25 years, Doug has always taken pride in the contribution his work has made to the beauty and value of his customers' homes.

After working in countless homes, both new construction and renovations, Doug came to realize both the need and desire for a product that would transform the basic and often lackluster arched doorways being offered to customers. However, he realized that such a product would need to be affordable, easy to install, and provide architectural elegance all at the same time.

After years of working with curves, arches were a natural fit. Doug developed the concept and blueprints for the "Arched Doorway Kits" and has a patent on what has been hailed by many in the home and building industry as a brilliant innovation.

Doug personally oversees every detail in the manufacturing plant, the operations of which are a combination of the latest technology and traditional benchwork.

Doug used to remark about the deep satisfaction he gained, knowing his stair and railing work was something people saw and used every day in their homes. When they were pleased with the work and loved what they saw, it made the extra efforts and attention to detail well worth it. This same lifelong commitment to craftsmanship and quality is what we now offer to customers installing an Arched Doorway Kit in their homes.
